Biomesh – anti insect screening
Redpath Level 2 Quarantine approved Biomesh is a monofilament polyethylene UV stabilised yarn mesh. It is a very close woven textile, and Biomesh may be used outdoors over a simple framework or used within greenhouse to cover ventilation, doors or window openings.
Biomesh Insect screening can exclude many varieties of aphids, white fly, and other small common pests. Please check with your consultant if the Biomesh is sufficiently small to restrict the pest you don’t desire!
The colour (natural) still allows excellent light transmission and it may be secured to the structure by simple battens or using the Redpath Lockstrip or Duralock clipping systems (see below)
Biomesh opening size of
.28mm x .78mm is supplied in standard width of 5.5m wide (146 GSM).
.28mm x .81mm is supplied in standard widths of 3m & 5.2m wide (135 GSM).
Roll lengths are 100m long – or a ‘cut length’ may be ordered to suit the individual application. Increments of 1m, 2m or 5m for longer cut to length rolls.
