Duratough Greenhouse film – Two thickness choices!
Redpath offer two types of our Duratough long life commercial greenhouse film to suit most applications. Duratough is available in 225 micron or 215 micron thickness. Both are long life UV stabilised greenhouse films. Also check out our SunSaver 202 micron greenhouse film on this page HERE
Duratough is New Zealand’s most popular commercial greenhouse films and both thicknesses are supplied in convenient widths to suit your greenhouse design needs.
Note: There is a very limited range of widths for the 225 micron HD film currently.
How to order:
Select the width and then the length from the drop downs below for the 215 micron or the super-heavy-duty 225 micron film and then add to your shopping cart.
We suggest you allow a little extra length and width over and above the greenhouses actual size, so that you have some excess film for holding onto and tensioning the greenhouse plastic when you fit it.
Roll lengths and prices for all widths up to 100m are listed below but longer rolls up to 500m are also stocked.

Duratough 215: Five year UV
Duratough215 is a heavy-duty 215 micron thickness and includes a coating on its inside surface to help prevent condensation droplets forming. Duratough215 exceeds the NZ industry standard thickness of 200 micron greenhouse films.
Duratough215’s Tri-Layer extruded natural EVA co-polymer is “Bumblebee Friendly” – and allows natures natural pollinators to work amongst your crop. Duratough215 helps lock in heat at night time whilst giving excellent light transmission of up to 91% +, and with high P.A.R transmittance for excellent crop production.
Duratough215 includes built-in diffusion characteristics for superior light spread into the crop canopy. Duratough215 micron greenhouse film typically has an 8 year + service life*.
215 micron available widths: 2m, 5.25m, 5.95m, 6.5m, 7.2m, 10.5m, 12m, 13.1m and 14.5 metre wide. You can order any width “cut to length” to suit your application. 5 year Pro-rata UV warranty applies.

Duratough 225: Six year UV (5 star)
Duratough 225 is an extra heavy-duty 225 micron thickness, extra strong professional greenhouse film that includes a coating on its inside surface to help prevent condensation droplets forming. Duratough225 is used on Redpaths range of commercial greenhouses. (Note: wide width 14.8m only at this time)
Duratough225 is a triple-layer extruded film, uses natural EVA co-polymers and is “Bee Friendly”. Duratough225 allows natures natural pollinators to work amongst your crops. This EVA based film helps lock in heat at night and gives excellent light transmission of up to 91% with high P.A.R light transmittance (Photo Synthetic Light Radiation) for crop production. Duratough225 offers long service life and is popular with greenhouse maintenance contractors and customers as it minimizes maintenance and associated labour costs in the long-term. Duratough225 typically has a 10 year+ service life*. You can order the 14.8m width “cut to length” to suit your application. A 6-year Pro-rata UV warranty applies (more widths of the Duratough225 will be available in the near future)
