Durashield white reinforced roofing

Redpath Durashield is constructed from a super heavy-duty commercial grade of woven UV stabilised “film/fabric”. Its white colour offers both shading and cooling and it has a nominal 25-35% light transmission for good natural light that gives easy internal navigation during the daytime for staff or animals. Durashield is a three layer laminated product with the centre woven mesh providing both extreme strength and also tear resistance.

Durashield will resist cutting from physical damage from extreme wind load and also tearing from flying debris. Durashield if damaged still remains difficult to tear or rip further.

Durashield is used on premium Redpath animal and industrial shelters for the roof or side cladding, Durashield reinforced film/fabric may be secured to the building with the Redpath Duralock system (see here) or it may be rolled around a timber battened and screwed or nailed to the frame 

Durashield is fabricated to any size you wish, Rolls may be 2m, 4m, 6m, 8m, 10m or 12m wide (or wider) and we fabricate the roll to the length you require.

We suggest you allow a little extra length over and above the actual width/length of your building, so that you have some excess film for holding onto and tensioning the Durashield  when fitting it. On Redpath buildings we use tension bars to help tension the Durashield on the building and keep it tight.
