Raised gardens box only profiles
Redpath raised gardens are supplied in two types of NZ natural wood materials. Rot resistant Chunky 50mm thick NZ Macrocarpa or 40mm untreated pine.
Both timbers are non-treated, although Macrocarpa does offer a longer service life due to the timbers naturally existing built-in preservative and its extra thickness of 50mm boards giving this option a long service life.
Redpath do not recommend using tanalised timber materials around your food production / edible food areas.
Both timber are landscape grade rough sawn for that rustic and natural looking effect, and will change colour with age. The timber contains natural knots and material variations that help it blend in with your garden environment.
With non-tanalised timbers exposed to outside environment you might wish to consider painting or oiling the boards to help extend their service life, a simple internal poly liner may also assist.
Both types of timber include the Redpath designed long life corrosion resistant stainless steel corner connecting brackets making for a simple yet strong corner joint assembly. The brackets help ensure that the garden corners are set up and remain ’90deg square’ – All screws are included.
Allow yourself 10-15 minutes only to assemble the average sized garden
