Commercial Greenhouse film -3 thickness choices!
Redpath offer three types of clear commercial greenhouse film to suit most applications. Duratough is available in 225 micron or 215 micron thickness and SunSaver is a 202 micron competitive option.
All are long life UV stabilised, neutral UV, greenhouse films. They are New Zealand’s most popular commercial greenhouse films and are supplied in convenient widths to suit your greenhouse design needs.

Duratough225: 6-year UV (5 star)
Duratough225 is an extra heavy-duty 225 micron thickness, extra strong professional greenhouse film that includes a coating on its inside surface to help prevent condensation droplets forming. Duratough225 is used on Redpaths range of commercial greenhouses. (Note: wide width 14.8m only at this time)
Duratough225 is Tri-Layer co-extruded, uses natural EVA co-polymers and is “Bee Friendly”. Duratough225 allows natures natural pollinators to work amongst your crops. This EVA based film helps lock in heat at night and gives excellent light transmission of up to 91% with high P.A.R light transmittance (Photo Synthetic Light Radiation) for crop production. Duratough225 offers long service life and is popular with greenhouse maintenance contractors and customers as it minimizes maintenance. Duratough225 typically has a 10 year+ service life*. You can order the width “cut to length” to suit your application. 6-year Pro-rata uv warranty applies (more widths will be available in the future)

Duratough215: 5-year UV
Duratough215 is a heavy-duty 215 micron thickness and includes a coating on its inside surface to help prevent condensation droplets forming.
Duratough’s Tri-Layer extruded natural EVA co-polymer is “Bee Friendly” and allows natures natural pollinators to work amongst your crops. Duratough215 EVA helps lock in heat at night whilst giving excellent light transmission of up to 91% +, and with high P.A.R transmittance for excellent crop production.
Duratough215 includes built-in diffusion characteristics for superior light spread into the crop canopy. Duratough215 typically has an 8 year + service life*. You can order any width “cut to length” to suit your application. 5-year Pro-rata uv warranty applies.
Available widths: 2m, 3m, 4.1m, 5m, 6.3m, 7.2m, 8.2m, 9.2m, 10.5m, 12m, 13.3m & 14.5 metre wide.
SunSaver202: 4-year UV
SunSaver202 is a 202 micron thickness commercial greenhouse film that also includes a coating on its inside surface to help prevent condensation droplets forming. Sunsaver202 exceeds the NZ industry standard 200 micron thickness for greenhouse films. Sunsaver202 is popular with many growers NZ wide and is typically our most competitively priced commercial greenhouse film. SunSaver co-polymer is also “Bee Friendly” for natural pollination and provides excellent light transmission of 91% + during the day for great indoor crop or orchard crop production. SunSaver suits most all greenhouse designs offered in NZ & Australasia and is compatible with a multitude of greenhouse clipping systems. SunSaver202 has high P.A.R light transmittance and includes built-in diffusion characteristics for spread of sunlight through the crop canopy. You can order any width “cut to length” to suit your application. 4-year Pro-rata uv warranty applies. More widths will be available in the future, we suggest you use the thicker grade Duratough product(s) for any width above 10.7m as they will have greater strength / durability at their edge.

We suggest you allow a little extra length and width over and above the greenhouses actual size, so that you have some excess film for holding onto and tensioning the greenhouse plastic when you fit it.
